Burgess, publisher Wiley This is a good theory and principles book.
- The Practice of System and Network Administration by Thomas A
Limoncelli and Christine Hogan, this book doesn't have any commands,
but does have a a lot of organizational and interesting situational
problem/examples.
- Windows 2000 Administration in a nutshell by Mitch Tulloch, more
current haven't read much of it.
- Still looking for an XP book, O'Reilly has some possibilites,
like Windows XP in a nutshell, or Windows Server 2003 in a nutshell.
- Essential Windows NT System Administration by AEleen Frisch,
basic details on NT administration - relevant but getting out of date
- Essentail System Administration by AEleen Frish, basic details
on
Unix Administration, 3rd Edition.

homeworks will be 10 points. The project(s) will be worth 30 points.
